Heavy Rotation
A bunch of my favorite musicians have new music out: Chris “Crispy” Corvino of Deadguy now sings for Atom Driver, Kowloon Walled City bassist Ian Miller’s Strangelight (featuring one-time KWC member and The New Trust drummer Julian Lancer along with members of Transistor Transistor + Western Addiction) have a new EP out, and Louis Jucker of Coilguns dropped a new single.
This stuff all flows into some music that I think everyone should hear: the 2021 albums by Kowloon Walled City, Human Impact and Rob Sonic.
Plus, there’s multiple new Alchemist projects (because there always is) and the instrumentals of O.C.’s classic ’94 debut Word… Life are on DSP’s now.
And I can’t stop listening to the Mouthpiece LP from 1994.
This is a solid hour of good tunes.

Heavy on the hip-hop with new Big Ghost Ltd, Conway The Machine, and Muja Messiah and vintage ragga-jungle from the early-00’s Shockout Records era (Kid 606, The Bug, Daddy Freddy, Wayne Lonesome) and a lot more.
