40 of my favorite rap, hardcore and post-rock songs from February

From old DeSoto singles to new releases from Today Is The Day and Cage, 02.2020 is 3 hours of songs that had my attention last month.

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram (which currently my numbers support the idea that you almost certainly do not) I’ve been posting every single thing I’ve been listening to. I like doing it because it forces me to get out of certain music routines while at the same time its cool to have a record of all the stuff that I was checking out (it’s also much easier to update than this blog. Sad but true.)

At the same time I started a Spotify playlist to grab that stuff that grabbed me the most. So here’s my Heavy Rotation for February. Its all over the map with a handful of all-time favorites from Cage, The Warmers, Rodan HiM, and The Sorts but mostly new stuff from Aesop Rock, Night Goat, Montecharge, Human Impact and Arbor Labor Union or new-to-me bands like Candy Machine, Rollkicker Laydown and Cows. If you’re looking for new music in the vein of what’s covered here you should be happy.
